About

It’s handy having the initials ‘MC’ when your personal brand simultaneously doubles as a skill and part job description! Mark Carter is a Melbourne based keynote speaker, trainer, emcee, author and coach.
Mark works as an inspirational international speaker. He has presented to virtual audiences of up to 12k and live audiences of 3k: with the added complexity of simultaneous translation to over a dozen languages for more than half the attendees.
Mark’s TEDx talk was the movie trailer for this second book, ‘Add Value’, published globally by Wiley. He is a regular mainstream media contributor for press and industry specific publications.
Mark’s first role developing talent, training leaders across Europe for Contiki Holiday, was an ideal environment to research human behaviour, the psychology of communication and mastering presentation skills. He’s often described as a charismatic storyteller, a skill with direct origins to lessons learnt from his ten years in travel as a leader and trainer.
Mark now has over 27 years’ experience as a global learning and development professional. You can read about his extended range of keynotes and bespoke training programs on his primary website. All have a common thread of people and human behaviour.
Relevant to MC PRESENTS collaboration, between 2008 and 2011 Mark headed learning and development across Asia Pacific for a global web conferencing company. This additionally armed him with virtual platform presentation and communication skills more than a decade before it became essential due to increased remote work.
During initial COVID lockdowns Mark was a primary host for ICMI’s Speakers and Entertainers weekly ‘Breakfast Bites’ in addition to becoming a go to ‘train the trainer’ helping arm speakers and MC’s with the tools to adapt for the virtual world.
Mark’s ‘ORATOR’ IP program was initially crafted circa 2006 when a blue-chip corporate client asked him to train their leaders and sales teams on presentation skills. The program has remained a long standing, popular, sought after, body of work since.
MC PRESENTS gives you the opportunity to access decades or proven wisdom and tools to enhance your communication skills for a wide range of reasons listed on our home page.
